ISM Study Plus

The ISM not only provides students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge as part of their studies, but also offers various ways to further qualify themselves. Through the voluntary ISM StudyPlus program, all students can deepen their individual interests and be inspired by new topics. These additional courses are offered across locations in an online format in the evening to allow for broad participation. The subject areas range from language courses to software programs to academic work. The instruction language is German or English.

The program and respective courses are introduced to students via email at the beginning of each semester, and registration for the courses is open during a 14-day registration period. Afterward, participation is no longer possible.

In addition, ISM also provides self-paced courses in Moodle for Excel, VBA, and SPSS in both German and English. These can be booked throughout the year through self-enrollment.

Certain master's programs at various universities require a minimum number of ECTS points in Economics (VWL) and/or Statistics for admission, which may exceed the ECTS obtained in the regular ISM bachelor's program. To meet this demand, ISM offers special M.Sc. Bridge Courses. These courses allow students to acquire the necessary ECTS points (5 in total), especially during semesters abroad. The study organization informs students in a timely manner about the relevant courses.
